Project Wedding: Out of Town Gift Boxes

Let me introduce you to the Thank You boxes I made for my out of town guests! These were assembled and delivered to the hotel the day before everyone was due to check in. And my guests LOVED them!

Here’s everything that was in the box:

  • “Your Guide to the Wedding Celebration” booklet (included a welcome message, map and directions to the venue, schedule of events for the weekend, and emergency phone numbers)
  • (Image 1) Bottled water + Advil with Mr. M’s personal Hangover Recipe
  • (Image 2) Photo DVDs, with return envelope, so our guests could share the photos they took with us
  • (Image 3) Nanaimo bars, a special British Columbian treat
  • Brochure of Vancouver’s sites and landmarks, including coupons and map of the city

I originally intended to include a fashion emergency kit, but I couldn’t find the right containers to fit the components so I had to scrap that bit. It would have comprised of a sewing kit, fashion tape, and safety pins. (Honestly, I don’t think anyone missed this.)

Everything was neatly wrapped up in elements that related to the wedding theme. I love making my guests feel taken care of!
