The last installment of the busy bags collection could not be easier! I honestly saved the easiest for last. Ha!
WATER PAINTING
Ages: 1+
Skill: Tapping into their creative side
Supply List
• Construction paper (it has to be construction paper - nothing else will work as well)
• Paint brushes
• A cup of water (as needed)
• Manila folder and tape (optional)
Step-by-Step
1. There’s nothing to it! Just pile a few sheets of construction paper together with a paint brush or five. However… if you want to actually DO something with this project, go to step 2.
2. Use a manila folder for added sturdiness to the paper. Tape one sheet to each four sides of the folder. That’s it!
How To Play
When it’s time to keep busy, set a container of water next to the papers and paintbrushes and have your kid paint away. Using plain water means no mess if there’s spillage or if your kid decides to get all Picasso on your walls. Who doesn’t love THAT??
The water will dry clear so you can use the paper over and over. It’s mind blowing how simple this activity is, right???
I hope you’ve enjoyed all the activities I’ve shared with you! Next time, I’ll be wrapping up this series with a literal wrap-up post by showing you how I giftwrapped the entire gift. Ha! I’m so proud of myself with that play on words! Plus, I’ll be sharing photos of the happy recipient playing with these busy bags. I’ll see you back here next time!
I’ve linked up this project at these parties here.
