I was thrilled to provide custom brand photography for Jessica at The Organized Mama. I instantly felt a connection to her website that's all about organizing, home decor and crafty projects. When she added that her style was along the lines of modern farmhouse, I felt I had found my ideal client!

Before working with me, Jessica had quite a bit of trouble finding stock images that blended her color palette and subject matter. When I saw the unique colors she used, I definitely agreed she needed custom photos done!

I start every project with a detailed client questionnaire. This gives me a background of my client's business and who their target audience is. This information is extremely important to know so that I can create photos that would appeal to their customer base.

After Jessica sent back her questionnaire, she invited me to her secret Pinterest board where she pinned all sorts of photos that inspired her brand for The Organized Mama. From this secret board, I pulled images that I think further speaks to her brand and then I found a few more photos to round out the story. I gathered these photos together to create an inspiration board.

Because Jessica's website covers organizing, home decor and decorative craft projects, I provided props that reflected these topics, while keeping in the style of modern farmhouse.

Finding props in purple and teal are a challenge within itself. Never mind needing them to be in the home decor category! That's why I'm so grateful for scrapbooking paper. There are so many options and colorways in scrapbooking paper. Even though I was limited even in this material, I was able to get just enough for Jessica's photos.

With a bit of crafting, I was able to DIY some props that both fit her color palette and brand. The photos were complete with home decor props that had a sense of modern farmhouse, of which I had many in my library. Her final set of custom brand photos included different looks to cover the various topics she covers on her blog and in her services.
